The people behind
FALCREX Systems.

We’re a software company in Vancouver, BC, building DNM and EMP Intake.

Our work began in physical security, technical support and incident response. The problems we encountered there shape the software we build today.

Brendan Foote

Co-founder & CEO

LinkedIn

Brendan’s background spans physical security, incident response and security technology. He worked in technical support and escalation at a Fortune 500 security company before moving into corporate security and IT leadership.

In regulated environments, he investigated thefts, prepared reports for law enforcement and regulators, and managed records across multiple sites. That experience with evidence and documentation led to EMP Intake and the naming workflow that became DNM.

Jason Chan, FALCREX co-founder and COO

Jason Chan

Co-founder & COO

LinkedIn

Jason spent seven years in video surveillance and access control at a Fortune 500 organization, progressing from the support desk to Senior Manager of technical support and product escalation for the Americas.

His work brought him alongside investigators, law enforcement and legal teams, including evidence preparation for subpoenas and active cases. He brings that understanding of technical failures and documentation gaps to how FALCREX builds and supports its products.

Theo Hollamby

Advisor, Law Enforcement & Investigations

LinkedIn

Theo brings more than 30 years of experience in law enforcement, investigations, corporate security and risk management. His background includes federal policing, organized crime, intelligence and regulatory compliance.

He advises on EMP Intake, helping us test product decisions against the way investigators, security teams and enforcement agencies work and evaluate evidence.

One naming problem.
Two distinct products.

While building EMP Intake, we kept returning to the same problem: inconsistent filenames made casework harder to organize. We pulled the naming workflow into its own Windows app, Document Naming Manager.

DNM helps people name documents consistently. EMP Intake organizes evidence and casework. They are separate products, built by the same company, with their own workflows and product sites.
